Our Crazy Week
I've been reading several blogs on the topic of meal planning. One of the blogs had blog by blog instructions on successful meal planning. Dinners for the week are as follows:
Tuesday: Chicken stir fry
Wednesday: Tacos
Thursday: Spaghetti and meatballs
Friday: Turkey meatloaf
Saturday: NYPD pizza
Sunday: Keith's birthday dinner: Beef Brisket, roasted sweet potatoes, corn on the cob and cake!
Monday: Keith's birthday: birthday dinner leftovers
I'm also baking a birthday cake, sugar cookies, and a blueberry coffee cake for the our company!
We ordered some local organic produce and pick up days are Wednesdays. The selection this week includes: Sweet Baby Broccoli , Red Cabbage, Carrots w/Top, Bi-Color Corn, Savoy Spinach, Red Butter Lettuce, Green Onions, Green Bell Peppers, Sweet Potatoes, Heirloom Tomatoes, Purple Tomatillos, Gala Apples, Valencia Oranges, Red Flame Grapes, Honeydew, Starkrimson Pears.
This week is absolutely crazy! We are moving the rest of our stuff over to our new rental house, Keith's parents are coming into town on Thursday night. We move the furniture out of apartment on Saturday. Sunday we get to take our puppy, Aspen to our new home and celebrate Keith's birthday which takes place on Labor Day this year. I love celebrating and I love having our family around so I'm especially excited this all happens at once.
I will eventually post some pictures from summer. Keith and I had sooo much fun traveling to Colorado, South Florida and Maryland to see our family and friends!
