Year in Review: 2018

It is hard to believe that it is now 2019 (Happy New Year!). With 2018 in the books, we've been amazed at the scope and breadth of our travels. We knew that we had done a lot, but when we looked at the stats, the details surprised us; here are the highlights:

(New) Countries Visited: 6

Cities Visited: 31

Miles Traveled: 7,626

Our two favorite trips took us to the Netherlands and Switzerland.

The Netherlands absolutely fascinated us. The countryside was spectacular, the Dutch all spoke excellent English (nor were they offended to speak it when we struggled to speak basic Dutch), and the traditional Dutch windmills, wooden shoes and tulips were enticing enough to get us to schedule a return trip this April.

Switzerland. was. spectacular. For a family that loves the mountains, Switzerland felt like being home in Colorado. Cool crisp mountain air in the summer greeted us every morning, the views were breathtaking in every direction, and being with our church family was priceless.

2019 promises to be another full year of travel and explorations, and we're excited to see where we land.
